The Avenger Hurricane series was graced with a new version in which the ultra-light, ultra-sturdy case in Breitlight makes its debut. The watch is teamed with a yellow or black dial and high performance Manufacture Breitling Calibre 01.

Launching in the spring of 2016, the Avenger Hurricane series has really lived up to the billing. What really stands out on this watch is the impressive 50mm diameter casing and the rugged construction of the case with protective reinforcements for the pushers and the crown. The new Avenger Hurricane 12H also debuts the use of Breitlight, this is an exclusive high-tech material 3.3 times lighter than titanium and 5.8 times lighter than steel yet significantly harder. The material is exceptionally resistant to scratching, traction and corrosion, making it ultimately practical for the modern day wearer.

The Avenger Hurricane series now welcomes a new member to the collection. The watch retains all the best parts of the Avenger Hurricane watch, but the major new changes lies in the fact that the watch is equipped with the Manufacture Caliber B12 with its 24-hour military style display. This movement replaces the Manufacture Breitling Caliber 01 indicating the time in a more conventional 12-hour mode, but still retaining the undeniable precision and superior reliability delivered by Breitling.

On this instrument for professionals, the lightly streaked black colour of the case made of Breitlight is teamed with a technical and powerful yellow or black dial inspired by punctuated by aviation-inspired white stencil-type numerals. The presence of luminescent hands and numerals, along with a thick sapphire crystal glareproofed on both sides, guarantees maximum legibility in every circumstance and is another example of the dedication of Breitling to excel in excellence. The unidirectional rotating bezel is equipped with four rider tabs serving to memorise times. Like all Avenger models, the push pieces and crown are fitted with a non-slip grip ensuring optimal handling, even with gloves.

 

The exclusive strap combines comfort and sturdiness, with a rubber inner lining and sides and an exterior made of anthracite high-resistance Military textile fibre. The watch is water resistant to 100 meters, and has an ultimate power reserve of 70-hours.
