On Monday night fashion royalty, models and creative designers all gathered together at London’s iconic venue, the Royal Albert Hall, to celebrate the ‘Fashion Awards’, an award ceremony held annually to honour and commemorate some of the industry’s finest achievements over the past year.
One winner of the night was the beautiful British model, Adwoa Aboah, who stunned the world with her striking contemporary look on the front cover of this months British Vogue issue. On the night, Aboah proved she deserved the ‘Model of the Year’ Award by wearing a truly mesmerizing Halpern dress embellished with thousands of Swarovski crystals. It seems sequins and jewels and all things that sparkle are this year’s fashion craze, and the chic frocks weren’t the only features dazzling the red carpet on monday.

First on our list is Cartier, founded in the heart of the French Capital, Cartier have been producing some of the most beautiful timepieces and jewellry collections since the 1800s. The Parisian brand has established a huge following including many famous faces like Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and we can see why! It was difficult to narrow down the collections, however we have chosen two we believe to be firstly, original and secondly, classically elegant.
The Leve Collection is one that can be instantly recognised as a Cartier design. Since everyone has gone crazy for some sparkle and shine this year, why not try the Leve bracelet (available in 18-carat yellow, white and rose gold) with five beautifully cut diamonds, or even the Love bracelet, embellished with 10 flawless diamonds. The stunning collection starts at around £3,600.

The second collection is far too lavish not to mention! Although the price tag’s contain a fair amount of 00’s, we have added the collection to the list in order to lust over the beautiful baguette and perfectly round set diamonds. The collection’s most stunning pieces have to be the 18-carat white gold diamond embellished bracelet and necklace.
The pictures speak for themselves, Cartier have truly outdone themselves with this regal collection. The Reflection bracelet, which has a hefty price tag of £141,000, contains approximately 104 brilliant-cut diamonds totalling around 4.50 carats, and 52 baguette-cut diamonds, amounting to 5.61 carats. This is one collection that will forever be on my wish list!

Harry Winston is another Jewellers known for its exquisite diamond collections and elegant timepieces. The founder of the American company, Harry Winston, once stated that “no two diamonds are alike, each diamond has a different nature and must be handled the way you handle the person, every engagement ring we create is one of a kind”.
The impressive statement shows that Harry Winston enforced strict rules to ensure that the high standards of selecting jewels and caring for customers are constantly maintained to this day! It’s no surprise that the brand has developed a large and loyal following, which includes some of Hollywood’s most elegant stars like Natalie Portman and Charlize Theron, and Human Rights Lawyer, Amal Clooney.

The second collection from Harry Winston is a personal favourite of mine and a perfect gift, which will certainly put a smile on any womans face. The Lotus Cluster Collection is an elegant and extremely feminine line that was inspired by one of nature’s most beautiful flowers. The greatest appeal of this collection is that it doesn’t matter whether you wear the collection during the day or throughout the night, you’ll always make a stylish and graceful entrance wherever you go.
The statement pieces of the collection are most definitely the Lotus Cluster pendant and earrings. The floral pendant weighs a total of 2.11 carats with a 1.00 carat centre stone, and the clustered diamond earrings amount to a total of 62 round brilliant diamonds, weighing approximately 4.17 carats, with a 1.00 carat centre stone. The collection is appropriately produced in one of the most valuable precious metals, platinum.
